Ian is an accomplished Director who has a proven track record in the business membership, public affairs and the private sector. Ian’s expertise lie in negotiation, business planning, coaching, government liaison, and relationship building. Ian is a Non Executive Director for Thomas Carroll and also sit on the Board of Governors of Gower College, and the Industry Advisory Board of Cardiff Business School. Additionally, he holds the position of Chair at Vibe Youth CIC and serve on the board of the Princes Trust in Wales.

Ian has led the CBI in Wales through some of its most challenging times, Covid, Brexit and it’s internal struggles. That required an ability to operate in a crisis, and has learnt a huge amount from those experiences.
