Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Karen has worked with children & young people since leaving school. Throughout this time she has developed extensive skills & qualifications  in a variety of settings- from early years through to youth work. Karen has since taken steps to further develop in leadership, management & coaching. Using her personal lived experiences, academic understanding, combined with her entrepreneurial vision, Karen is fully committed to Vibe Youth’s mission.

Jacob Henry

Jacob Henry

Founder & Chief Operating Officer

Jake started engaging with young people as a  volunteer and has since progressed and obtained qualifications in youth work, counselling concepts, and is a certified coach. Using aspects of his personal journey, Jake supports young people in understanding the root cause of issues they may face & develop projects which focus on long term change.

 ” I am very enthusiastic and passionate in sharing my experiences in hoping it can be of benefit to others. I feel that I am in a unique position to carry a message effectively to young people due to finding a new positive way of life. No matter how far down the road of destruction, change for the better is always possible.”

Jayne Evans

Jayne Evans

Non-Executive Director (Safeguarding lead)

Jayne worked for the NHS for 37 years as a dual qualified nurse in psychiatry and learning disabilities.  She was the Team Manager of a Community Multidisciplinary Service working with children and young people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour, primarily in their family homes, their schools and their respite care environments.  She retired in 2014 and now works part time for two Community Councils.

“Having spent many years working with young people, I believe some young people need to be supported to attain their goals in life, this support can come from within or outside their family unit.  Positive messages and actions can encourage confidence and optimism in young people and I feel Vibe Youth offer this to young people”

Susannah Field

Susannah Field

Non-Executive Director

Susannah is a strategic communications and engagement professional with over 17 years’ experience.  Her work has included awardwinning campaigns, marketing communications, bids and case studies for the public and third sectors, research and Higher Education. She currently works to develop research projects and bids for the GREAT (Gambling Research, Education and Treatment) Network Wales and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Swansea University. 

“With a background in psychology, I understand how difficult experiences can derail young people’s lives. But with appropriate support, this risk can be transformed into resilience.  I believe strongly that every young person deserves understanding, which is why I am proud to support Vibe Youth CIC.”

Chris Davies

Chris Davies

Non-Excutive Director (Interim Chair)

Chris has worked within public, private and third sector organisations over the last 25 years. Chris has managed multi-million pound programmes across the UK in Justice, Welfare to Work, Supported Housing, Skills, and Charitable Enterprises. Chris is also an independent Executive Mentor. Chris currently works for one of the largest third sector organisations in the UK, as their Head of Retail and Charitable Enterprises.

Charles Sibanda

Non-Executive Director (Treasurer)

Charles has worked in finance for over 15 years and the majority of that period has been spent working in the Housing Sector.He currently works for Valleys to Coast Housing as an Assistant  Finance & Tax Manager in a business partnering centred role, with duties involving responsibility for VAT, Payroll, Budgeting & Reporting, and support for the management accounts preparation.
