Karen Henry
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Karen has worked with children & young people since leaving school. Throughout this time she has developed extensive skills & qualifications in a variety of settings- from early years through to youth work. Karen has since taken steps to further develop in leadership & management, coaching and Neuro Linguistic Programming. Using her personal lived experiences, academic understanding, combined with her entrepreneurial vision, Karen is fully committed to Vibe Youth’s mission.

Jacob Henry
Founder & Chief Operating Officer
Jake started engaging with young people as a volunteer and has since progressed and obtained qualifications in youth work, counselling concepts, is a certified coach and recently qualified as a Neuro Linguistic Practioner. Using aspects of his personal journey, Jake supports young people in understanding the root cause of issues they may face & develop projects which focus on long term change.
” I am very enthusiastic and passionate in sharing my experiences in hoping it can be of benefit to others. I feel that I am in a unique position to carry a message effectively to young people due to finding a new positive way of life. No matter how far down the road of destruction, change for the better is always possible.”

Jayne Evans
Non-Executive Director (Safeguarding lead)
Jayne worked for the NHS for 37 years as a dual qualified nurse in psychiatry and learning disabilities. She was the Team Manager of a Community Multidisciplinary Service working with children and young people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour, primarily in their family homes, their schools and their respite care environments. She retired in 2014 and now works part time for two Community Councils.
“Having spent many years working with young people, I believe some young people need to be supported to attain their goals in life, this support can come from within or outside their family unit. Positive messages and actions can encourage confidence and optimism in young people and I feel Vibe Youth offer this to young people”

Ian Price
Non-Executive Director (Chair)
Ian became Director CBI Wales in January 2017 after 11 years of being Assistant Director for both Wales and Southwest of England. Prior to joining the CBI Ian worked in recruitment for several years and was a Director of Acorn Recruitment, he helped build up the Acorn brand into one of the UK’s leading recruitment companies. Ian Chairs the Wales Apprenticeship Advisory Board on behalf of Welsh Government, this enables Ian to contribute to an area that he has a great interest, he has a passion for apprenticeships and sits on the board of the Princes Trust in Wales.

Charles Sibanda
Non-Executive Director (Treasurer)
Charles has worked in finance for over 15 years and the majority of that period has been spent working in the Housing Sector.He currently works for Valleys to Coast Housing as an Assistant Finance & Tax Manager in a business partnering centred role, with duties involving responsibility for VAT, Payroll, Budgeting & Reporting, and support for the management accounts preparation.
